Thinking Green...Acting Green
The EPA estimates that there are between 100 to 130 million unused
cellular phones in the United States and only about 20% of them are being properly recycled. Cell phones and their batteries contain many toxic materials such as antimony, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, copper, lead, nickel, and zinc. These belong to a class of chemicals known as persistent toxins, which linger in the environment for long periods of time without breaking down and pose serious effects on our environment.
At Omega we are committed to helping the environment, by assisting you in the recycling process. We believe by locating and recycling unused cellular phones, we are helping to preserve our planet for future generations.
If you would like to be a part of the recycling process, we are here to help you. Please take a minute to see just how easy it is to recycle your old phones and become part of the growing effort to preserve our planet, while receiving the highest dollar amount paid by the recycling industry.
Even if you chose not to recycle through Omega, please make the choice to recycle with a responsible company. The entire process will only take minutes of your time but your actions will have a lasting impact on our world.
